From the first time I stepped on the mat, back in 2001, I was hooked. I instantly fell in love with the sense of lightness I felt from my yoga practice. And then the clarity. Then the expansion.
I started to wake up.
In 2011, pulled by forces much larger than myself, I travelled to India and trained at Yoga Vidya Gurukul (Nashik, Maharashtra). Since then I have studied and practiced with many inspirational teachers - including David Swenson, Nadia Narain, Mimi Kuo Deemer, Jean Hall, Naomi Absolom and Kristen Campbell.
I teach a strong, slow and soulful vinyasa flow, with a focus on breath-based movement, the mind-body-spirit connection, and both internal and external alignment. I aim to empower and motivate my students, encouraging each individual practitioner to explore their own potential and deepen their awareness.
Over the years, my yoga has kept me grounded and open through countless life experiences. During my pregnancy, my personal practice allowed me to enjoy a deep connection with my baby, a comfortable pregnancy and an empowered birth. Inspired to share the benefits of yoga during this special life stage, I trained in prenatal and postnatal yoga with Nadia Narain. My maternity classes focus on helping pregnant and new mothers find the right balance of strength and softness, while trusting their own primal instincts and tapping into their innate female wisdom.
